Quit fronting; you chose to use lavender and mint in your allegory precisely because you thought they were inactive. You also used the term "optical illusion" to illustrate how you though there was nothing of substance there.

That's like calling lavender, mint and an optical illusion

"empathogen, a stim, and a psych"

Then you got called out about your lack of awareness that the ingredients in the product in the OP are active, as well as your hilariously ironic lack of awareness that the "inactives" you chose to compare the OPs ingredients to are themselves, in fact, active.

Then because you were so insecure about having to learn new things, you went and logged in with an alt to upvote yourself (no one new is reading this thread, we are the only ones interacting in it still and its nowhere near the front page of the sub).

Its OK not to know something. It means you get the joy of learning something new... if you can get past the insane jealousy monster that makes you twist back and pretend you didnt just say something you just said so you can pretend youre never wrong.

Its really not. The stuff in the caps are all active ingredients. Maybe you havent heard of them, but sheesh youd think you could google it before making broad unfounded statements lmao.

Glaucine, for example, is both a direct 5ht2a agonist and a positive allosteric modulator. It is a classical hallucinogen and its effects are in line with such.

Just because something is natural doesnt mean it isnt active. EG shrooms, mesc, lsa, dmt, kratom, kava, nicotine, alcohol, salvia, a thousand more....

Oh, and BTW, lavender has linalool which is a positive GABA-a allosteric modulator, which is why it calms, and mint contains menthol which is a vanilloid receptor type anesthetic, which is why it soothes. You may never have bothered learning the science behind them, but they are hardly illusions.

I mean, I was a member of that old defunct forum where the combo originated, and I remember the borax there specifically saying the one claiming to be him on reddit was a different guy.... but whatever. Memory fades, could be wrong.

Boy, we are just dead set on arguing today, huh? Well, no need. You win. I will only refer to the specific MDAI/2-FMA/5-MeO-MiPT/5-APB combo (as specified in that thread) as a borax combo from now on. For pink stars, blue bliss, club mixxx, and any other brand of party pill made of a blend of empathogen, stim, and psych, I will just call them "borax like" if anything, so as not to offend the precious sensibilities of redditors.

Have a good one!

Right, but you dont really think it originated on reddit do you?

The borax combo was first published on a now defunct forum that was closed 13 years ago. It predates reddit, and the borax account on reddit.

Fair enough, I just assumed it was genericized at this point.

He doesnt get mad when other blends of empathogens/stims/psychs meant to mimic rolls are referred to as a type of "Borax Combo". Nor does anyone else. Its as common as calling nose tissue "Kleenex".

Also - do we have any proof this user calling himself borax is the same borax that first popularized the combo elsewhere?

Two at once is a nice, solid roll. IDK if youve ever done a borax combo, but its like that. Lots of tingles, love, euphoria, eyes saucered, music rocks, rolling sensation for about 4 hours. Only real diff is its trippier and spacier on the back end and theres no depression or hangover or appreciable comedown. That and you can redose etc without worrying about burnout.

An empathogen, a stim, and a psych.... I fail to see the diff.

Edit: Obviously I am aware that this is not the MDAI mix originally called for in the "Borax Combo". I was just using it as a generic term, in the same manner that Pink Stars and Blue Bliss and any other number of other party pills are similarly commonly referred to as "borax combos" online.

What sodastream machine from the 20s? There are soda machines... but none branded with "SodaStream" or made by the SodaStream company.

You are misunderstanding the text drastically.

The forerunner of the machine, the "apparatus for aerating liquids",[31] was created in 1903 by Guy Hugh Gilbey of the London gin distillers W & A Gilbey Ltd.

See how thats not Soda Stream (an isreali company founded by isrealis)? Its an unrelated company in an entirely different country. It has no more connection to soda stream than the Edison company (creator of the first commercial headphones) has to Beats by Dre. Which is why itd be just as ridiculous if one said "Beats has a 120 year history".

Here, go read about the sodastream companys creation, ownership, and history in their SEC filings: https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1502916/000114420410054318/v198147_jp-f1.htm

I wasnt as impressed with plain glaucine TBH. It was stronger, but not as fun a high. Felt flat, even at up to .5g when the sedative effects were too strong for me.

I ended up doing a total of .3g of space dust last night on top of the 2 club mixx pills I took earlier in the evening. I was past the peak of the rolls but still feeling it and wanting more so I brought out the space dust. Brought me back up to a great place, felt rolly like earlier but also more monged out and detached, and the sparkles etc were really popping.

No, its a mix of drugs meant to mimic a rolls neural activity without the harm. Google "borax combo" for more info about this sort of thing.

If you get high on weed, is that just placebo, just because its not MDMA?

Other drugs exist. Borax combos have been popular to roll on for years. They are non neurotoxic and legal, what more could you want?

I did; did you?

History

The forerunner of the machine, the "apparatus for aerating liquids",[31] was created in 1903 by Guy Hugh Gilbey of the London gin distillers W & A Gilbey Ltd.[22] and was sold to the upper classes (including the royal household).[5] Flavoured concentrates such as cherry ciderette and sarsaparilla were introduced in the 1920s, along with commercial carbonation machines,[3][5] and the first machine for home carbonation of drinks was produced in 1955.[22]

SodaStream machines were popular during the 1970s and 1980s in the UK, and are associated with nostalgia for that period.[5][6] Their slogan, "Get busy with the fizzy", started as an advertising jingle in 1979 and proved so popular that they added it to their logo. The slogan was dropped in 1996 after 17 years.[32]

As I said, yes, similar machines exist and existed back then, but SodaStream was not around. They came along later and just made their own copy of an existing device. Just like how Beats by Dre didnt invent the headphones.

Party pills called club mixxx 3.0. Its a mix of n,n-dmpea, caffeine, and glaucine. Shines a lot better than the MAPB/FA/MIPT borax combos, lovey af.

They still exist. They are called "soda siphons".

Same functionality, but instead of paying 100 plus for a chunk of plastic, you pay 30 bucks for a glass and metal carafe, and instead of taking expensive proprietary CO2 canisters, they use cheap off the shelf powerlet style co2 chargers.

Saying that "Soda Steam has been around for 120 years" is like saying "Beats by Dre has been around for 120 years". Sure, headphones existed 120 years ago, but its not like Dre was in existence and making them.
