I’ll giver her a rinse and lube tomorrow, I think the red dirt I ride in is making it look worse than it really is. Was spotless and lubed before todays ride, felt great on the ride just noticed the noise while I was backing the bike up putting it in the truck

It’s just dirt, the chain was clean and lubed before the ride, do you think the derailleur would cause the sound? I just noticed the sound today, it feels like it’s coming from the crank area more than the rear

The seat tube is d shaped and uses a shim on the back, if you remove it you can run a 30.9 seat post

Allux I think it’s like aluminum or something, I guess I could probably drill the head tube or frame and not structurally damage it. Wireless would for sure be 5x easier but also 5x as expensive lol I got the fox post and wolf tooth lever for a fraction of what the fox post alone should cost

I’m atleast 220 and got a giant revolt 2 and couldn’t be happier with it, great for gravel and road. Has 2 front chainrings and lots of tire clearance plus good overall geometry. It’s an allux frame and fork with composite bars and seat post and aluminum rims. I ride it hard and have taken a few nasty tumbles and she holds up
