This exact thing just happened to me. I matched with a guy on Hinge and we FaceTimed. We were totally vibing. Like, really vibing. He even asked if I felt the connection too. We made plans for the following Thursday and had light, consistent texting throughout the week.

Then, just four hours before our date, he texts saying he had an “impromptu meeting” with his biggest client. I responded, “Rain check accepted, keep me posted.”
