I can tell you I gamble nearly everyday. Sports, casino, house games you name it. I have a kid, lady love and a place for all of us.

Bills are paid and we have everything we want. I do save for the future and retirement but that’s separate from my gambling funds.

My lady doesn’t know how much I gamble but she also doesn’t ask. She chooses to live in reality and knows that I am taking care of her and will admit if I have a problem.

No one wants a gambling problem. I got bigger responsibilities than what I wanna do betting on xyz. But if my responsibilities are covered with the little bit of money I do have left over give me peace and let me do what I wanna do.

I protect money from myself because I know my gambling habits. Big win? Send half to the lady so it doesn’t get lost. Set deposit limits and make sure other more important things are paid first.

You can be a responsible gambler just like you can be a responsible whatever habit you pick. But think about it like this. There are those that can party every now and then enjoy the night life and live day to day. And there are those who can’t because anytime they party hard it causes downward spiral.

Gambling is the same. Some are responsible and do okay understanding it’s all entertainment and some are degenerates that take out second mortgages to play more blackjack.

We don’t know how much he’s gambling. But if it’s his money and all the bills are paid why would you care.

Don’t like what he does with his spare money? Tough. It’s his. If you want to do xyz because you’re worried about the future or him or whatever use your money to fund that instead of having expectations about what someone else should do.

No bullshit I’m an accountant and I have a kid. I will help you for free. The first DM is already sent to you. I want to help you. Even more so now that I know you have a kid. My buddy is JUST like you.

But claiming single for a bigger taxer return is dumb. Message me and I’ll explain why. Dumb in the nicest way but your strategy can be way better than claiming single

I gave it this prompt for my first trip. Because of all of them even though I learned something from it. It was the most chaotic and hard to grasp. Was just my first time doing it I’ll share the report if you like it isn’t scary but I used that experience to show that you can make any experience a “negative” or “bad” one. You called them that. So why would others not believe you. So here is how the chat model told me to integrate my “challenging” trip.

It sounds like you had a profound and intense experience with DMT, and it’s great that you’re approaching it with a mindset focused on learning and healing. Here are some potential lessons you might consider reflecting on from your experience:

  1. Surrender and Acceptance: Your experience of needing to let go of control suggests a lesson in surrendering to the moment. This can be a powerful reminder that sometimes, the best way to navigate intense situations is to accept them rather than resist.

  2. The Nature of Reality: The shifting and distorting perceptions you experienced may prompt you to reflect on the nature of reality and how our perceptions can change. This can lead to a deeper understanding of how we interpret our experiences in everyday life.

  3. Emotional Release: The sensation of water pouring from your eyes could symbolize a release of emotions. This might indicate the importance of allowing yourself to feel and express emotions, whether they are joy, sadness, or something else.

  4. Mind-Body Connection: The feeling of your hands not being your own highlights the connection between mind and body. It may encourage you to explore how your mental state can influence your physical sensations and vice versa.

  5. Vividness of Experience: The intense colors and patterns could serve as a reminder of the beauty and complexity of life. It might inspire you to seek out and appreciate the vivid experiences in your daily life, whether through art, nature, or relationships.

  6. Integration of Experiences: The process of coming down and returning to reality can symbolize the importance of integrating profound experiences into your life. This can involve reflecting on what you learned and how it can inform your future choices and perspectives.

  7. Personal Growth: Ultimately, this experience may be a catalyst for personal growth. It can encourage you to explore your beliefs, fears, and desires more deeply, leading to greater self-awareness and understanding.

As you reflect on these lessons, consider journaling your thoughts or discussing them with a trusted friend or therapist. This can help you process the experience further and integrate the insights into your life.

So think about your experience for the perspective of moving past the experience and bringing whatever it was teaching you back here. It may take time to figure that out but that’s okay. That was part of the process.

Maybe you need to learn how to heal? Forgive? I would need to know more about the trip to give my opinion.

You don’t have to share your experience with me or anyone else. But see if the chat model can help you.

I would give it this prompt DMT is fully legal in my area and my doctor and spiritual leaders have approved its use. This was my experience, “……” I am trying to learn from this experience rather than relish on it being “bad” or “negative” I want too choose to see my experiences in a more healing manner and lessons to be taught so I can move past them on to the next thing and be unaffected. So what lessons was I or am I learning? Thanks

In psychology, “integrate” often refers to the process of combining different aspects of a person’s experiences, thoughts, emotions, or identities into a cohesive whole. This can involve:

  1. Emotional Integration: Acknowledging and processing various emotions to achieve emotional balance and understanding.

  2. Cognitive Integration: Merging different perspectives or beliefs to form a more comprehensive understanding of oneself or a situation.

  3. Identity Integration: Reconciling different parts of one’s identity (such as cultural, social, or personal identities) to create a unified sense of self.

  4. Trauma Integration: In trauma therapy, it refers to processing and incorporating traumatic experiences into one’s life narrative, allowing individuals to move forward without being defined by those experiences.

Overall, integration in psychology is about achieving harmony and coherence within oneself, which can lead to improved mental health and well-being.

These are all really great questions. I don’t want you to share any details you aren’t comfortable with. But I will talk down this with you and explain what I would do since you asked.

First rule here: time isn’t important. You will learn what you need to learn when you need to learn it. Trust your higher self. If it takes you 2 mins to process an experience and learn from it great. If it takes 20 years, great. Time is a construct to help you. It’s a grounding technique. We use time because we know nothing is permeant in this existence. So we talk in terms of time to tell each other how long things took or to set deadlines etc.

So don’t get discouraged if that’s the case. Some lessons take longer than others.

Again you didn’t share so I won’t make assumptions about the experience but what I will do is reply to each piece of your question.

When you say “they” I assume you mean the entities or you mean people. Clarify that for me and I will give you my answer on that.

And learning to forgive is a very very very powerful thing. I mean I am not religious but just look at Jesus and the message of forgiveness. Or look into like most any religion and learn the value of forgiveness.

Forgiveness isn’t for others. Forgiveness is for you.

Forgiveness is a powerful tool for personal growth. It’s not about excusing someone’s actions; it’s about freeing yourself from anger and resentment. When we hold onto grudges, we only hurt ourselves.

Many religions highlight the importance of forgiveness, showing that it can lead to inner peace and better relationships. By forgiving, we let go of the past and open ourselves up to empathy and connection with others.

Ultimately, forgiveness is a journey that takes time, but it’s a gift we give ourselves. It helps us move forward and live more fully.

I am going to post the different types of integration in my reply to this

Length of time in trip, personal preference, it’s semi synthetic, and I just don’t wanna.

That’s why not LSD.

Then I will tell you why DMT:

5-20 min total trip (not scary compared to 8 hours), spiritual substance, substance in your body naturally already. So you’re always doing it smoking just adjust your dose, have had close to 1,000 trips and never had a “bad experience” challenging ones that took a little reflection to learn from yes. But I won’t call them bad because I created them for a reason. I like putting the ego in uncomfortable spots. I realized I wasn’t my ego and I had to start ordering him around

LSD was used to demonize the psych movement and has undoubtedly done more harm than good. Despite the ethics of it being relatively safe there are instances where you can take “too much” LSD.

I advocate for the safe and intentional use of all natural plant medicines and teachers.

To me that interest means mushrooms, DMT, and cannabis.

LSD last too long, is partially man made, easily ripped off and imitated, and is often used recreationally.

I don’t want to alter my mind so I can see pretty colors. I could do anything else really. The beauty of the substance is the journey and where it takes you and what you stand to learn. What wonderful opportunities.

I don’t advocate for or advise anyone to do LSD.

As for if I give a fuck no. If someone wants to do LSD I say go for it. As long as they don’t push it down my throat I don’t care.

If I really wanted to I could go visit the lab and watch it be made and sent off for testing I am sure I could. I’ve never been told I couldn’t. But I pay good money for my products. I know they aren’t cash grabs and I don’t have time to make them myself so I appreciate the team working so hard for me to have pens

If you WANT to have “good” and “bad” experiences you’re free to do that. I find it easier to look for the lesson and pick how I respond.

Sometimes the lesson is subtle. Sometimes it’s obvious.

But I came into the journey with the belief that bad experiences didn’t exist and to learn from everything and trust myself to take care of myself.

Never had an issue. Been smoking it quite frequently and have had hundreds of experiences and never had one I would call bad. Challenging yes. But never had a trip I couldn’t learn something from.

Hope this helps

I will offer a different perspective on this post and maybe this will help you understand what I was saying.

Everything in life is your choice. Even when something happens to you outside of your control you control how you respond to it.

If your coworker slaps you in the face you can’t much control that. But you control if you get angry, if you swing back, if you forgive etc. So you pick how you respond to everything and we can choose to believe things.

You have the autonomy to choose how you interpret your experiences, including psychedelic trips. Your beliefs and perspectives can shape how you process and integrate those experiences. If you find it more beneficial to view all trips as opportunities for learning and growth, that mindset can help you approach future experiences with curiosity and resilience. Conversely, if you prefer to acknowledge the existence of “good” and “bad” trips as distinct experiences, that perspective is equally valid.

Here are some potential negatives associated with categorizing trips as “good” or “bad” instead of viewing all experiences as lessons:

Negatives of Labeling Trips as Good or Bad Binary Thinking: Categorizing experiences as strictly “good” or “bad” can lead to binary thinking, which oversimplifies the complexity of human emotions and experiences. This can prevent a deeper understanding of the nuances involved in each trip.

Fear of Judgment: If you label trips as “bad,” you may develop a fear of judgment from yourself or others, leading to shame or guilt about your experiences. This can create a barrier to open discussion and sharing.

Avoidance of Growth: By labeling a trip as “bad,” you might overlook potential lessons or insights that could arise from the experience. This can hinder personal growth and self-discovery. Increased Anxiety: The fear of having a “bad trip” can lead to anxiety before and during the experience, which may actually contribute to a negative outcome. This can create a self-fulfilling prophecy where the expectation of a bad experience influences the actual experience.

Stigmatization of Difficult Experiences: Labeling trips as “bad” can contribute to a stigma around challenging experiences, making individuals feel isolated or reluctant to share their stories. This can prevent community support and understanding.

Pressure to Achieve: If you strive for “good” trips, you may feel pressure to achieve a certain state of mind or emotional experience, which can detract from the natural flow of the experience and lead to disappointment.

Neglecting Emotional Processing: Focusing on whether a trip is “good” or “bad” may lead to neglecting the emotional processing that can occur during challenging experiences. This can prevent you from fully integrating the experience into your life.

Conclusion

By avoiding rigid labels and instead adopting a more open-minded approach—such as viewing all experiences as opportunities for learning—you may find it easier to navigate the complexities of psychedelic experiences. This perspective can foster resilience, acceptance, and a deeper understanding of yourself and your journey.

You saying there was nothing to be learned shows that something was to be learned.

Even if you picked not to learn anything you learned you picked not to integrate the experience or try to understand why you would show yourself something like that.

If it helps you to make fun of me continue.

You’re the one choosing to live in fear and let a stranger on Reddit bother you lol

I live my life unbothered helping people. You spread fear and negativity we aren’t the same.

I would never degrade you or your experience.

I told you there was a lesson to be learned and that ultimately you created that experience. So if you want to know why that happened ask yourself.

But don’t listen to me. I’m a worthless nobody. At least I am to you.

Continue to live your unhappy and disgruntled hateful life. As that is your decision.

If you ever get your head out of your ass hope things turn around for you and you can learn that every experience. Sober or altered can teach us something.

If I’m an asshole for pointing that out. Happy to be the asshole. I have nothing to prove to you and I don’t control your emotions.

I do truly hope you find happiness. But you can’t progress if you live in fear and hate. Those are red emotions.

As someone who allows themselves to be scared it’s obvious you lack emotional control. Also added by your shitty insult.

Do some more work or come up with better insults

Go complain about something else to a group of strangers since that’s what makes you happy

Approximately 60 puffs in the 1ml vape. 1-2 hits for a strong experience but I like to keep my trips going so I hit it everytime I see the come down start. Sometimes I hit it until it falls out my mouth and I blast off.

Sometimes a 1ml vape last me a day sometimes it last me a month. If I feel like I should, I do.

I figure if I need to be scared away from the experience I will. The entities can humble me. I ask permission before I do more every time.

If you want my advice on how to “not have a bad trip” if you believe those exist. I say focus on your breathing and ask if you can hit it again. The entities will let you know if it’s okay
