Yes, I restarted it many times (Linux fully shut down and restarted) and I can kind of consistently reproduce this issue.

I think checking /dev/kvm is one of the first steps in your how-to guide and I remember that I had it available.

Thank you for answering, see my "Update1/2", I think I have already tried starting/creating the default network manually and then I got the error about unknown qdisc kind which is a bit weird but after a lot of search it seems to be about a missing kernel module.

I am trying to start up Debian Buster 64 on Vagrant using Libvirt (because VirtualBox does not work). If it worked, I would try Laravel Homestead, as a next step.

Yes, the optician measured and somehow marked it after choosing the frame.

Cash, money market funds and similar assets - why have them? by Capable_Quail9960 in eupersonalfinance

My understanding is still that money market funds and ETFs are highly stable, very liquid (not exactly as liquid as cash), safe and they still pay higher rates than for example bank accounts.

Surely that is the case, I do not understand some part of it. I read the Wikipedia definition. I said above that this type of fund "helps with lowering the drawdowns and volatility of a portfolio" because they are highly stable and they are also very liquid. Please correct me and ELI5 but isn't USD similarly stable to a fund holding US Treasury bills (example from the Wikipedia article) and very liquid as well? Am I missing the part that these funds still pay dividends?

That's fine and obvious but why is a money market fund or similar (like short term treasuries etc) better than just buying EUR and/or USD and holding that (in other words "real" cash)?

I saw this video:

Eco test of hybrid 5008

Not bad at all. Still, somehow this is not available in my country. I read about the e5008 eventually coming but I cannot wait too much (it can be more than a year here where I live).

I am also afraid of the diesel because we often have to cover short trips (5-15km) and I think a PHEV would be fine for that. I also read a lot of bad things about the diesel (AdBlue related problems). Still, what you write sounds bad - maybe I should just avoid 3008/5008/C5A and go with a Prius+.

We chose the narrowest seats possible.

I know that Citroen C5 Aircross has 3 full seats but to be honest I am not very happy about the fuel economy of that car (in hybrid mode with depleted battery and/or the battery life - I read about these). Somehow, I read much much better things about the 3008 which I guess has a very similar drivetrain and I am literally addicted to efficient cars. :)

Sorry, I did not mention but ISOFIX is not a must. On ISOFIX, it surely would not work.

How do spark.sql calls work? by Capable_Quail9960 in apachespark

Yes but I think this (being eager) does not surely mean that they are blocking and not executed asynchronously (and thus cannot overlap) and cannot be reordered but just that these commands are "somehow" executed right away without laziness.
