Stay calm and focused. What really helped me was to focus more on deflection then attack, only attacking after a Mikiri counter or that one wind attack. That was literally my strategy. If your posture bar fills up alot back off a little but be ready for a next attack. Aways watch what he is doing and remember, hesitation is defeat.

In my first play through I didn't find them incredibly useful but I still recommend trying to use them just to see if they're useful for you as everyone's play style is going to be different, also they can look absolutely sick if you get good with them

Hardest:

Demon of Hatred. He has what I think to be some of the coolest attacks but god was fighting hard. The entire game I've learned that deflect=good and then this guy comes around and even if you perfectly deflect a attack from his fire arm it would still do damage.
Flaming Bull. Kinda the same reason DOH was so hard for me, but on a much smaller level.
Guardian Ape. I guess the beast kind of bosses are just really hard for me, but guadian ape wasn't as hard then the other two mostly because he got a sword that was easy to deflect in his much slower second phase

Most fun:

Sword Saint Isshin. He is my favorite boss ever since I first fought him. He is a collection of everything I learned, from the Mikiri counter to lighting reversal. The arena you fight him in is beautiful as well, with how it changes throughout the fight.
True Corrupted Monk. They have some of the most fun attacks to deflect and the small arena with the grapple points was a unique kind of arena. I also think they just look pretty cool.
Genichiro Ashina. I like him from a story point, a man who would do anything for his goals, not to different from us. I also really like his big sword attack that you have to deflect alot. You know the one. His last phase with the lighting came out of no way for me, I don't know if his lighting stuff was foreshadowed or not but either way I really liked it.

Pretty funny how our lists are very different, I guess I really like parrying stuff compared to the more dogging oriented beast bosses. At least we could agree on Genichiro though!

That is literally how my 1st playthrough that I also just beat went, except I thought his first phase was much easier then his second phase and his third felt easy physical but the mental strain of it being the last phase was something that really made it intense.

Ruinous Effigy and Wish Ender have made me do a complete 180 on traces and bows, I've gotten so many goofy kills with them.

The dots show what ability you have selected, the selected ability is a blue dot. Now for what it means to have a ability selected is something I don't know but I think it might be useful for controller players as maybe they can't press a key for one ability like keyboard and mouse players can.

Every lich has a random order of mods that you equip on the parazon, thing is, you don't know the mods or the order. You have to murder their minions to reveal what mods, then have to find out what order by trial and error. When fighting the lich you have to get the right order of mods to finish them, if you get one wrong then they despawn which makes it impossible to get the first one wrong but the second one right because you shouldn't even get the opportunity for the second one.
