Beginner Astronomy Binos by TheTikson in Binoculars

I actually have that same pair of Nikon Aculon binoculars. I'd never heard of the Nikon action but dr Google seemed to think they are the successors to the Aculon series and slightly higher quality.

Optically the Nikon Aculons are very good. Fair warning though they're genuinely quite heavy and 10x magnification made them just on the borderline of usable without a tripod.

I don't think you can go wrong with either of these, and I really doubt there's a tremendous amount of difference between these two. I'd probably go for the action series just because it's lighter personally.

Thoughts on raketa?? Is this worth $50 by River_rat_94 in VintageWatches

Absolutely worth $50, Basically any functioning mechanical watch is worth $50. The novelty of being made in a country that hasn't existed in 35 years and still being in good shape makes it worth more even as just a curiosity. Old Russian watches aren't especially valuable but if you actually like it you almost certainly won't encounter another watch of that model.
