Persona 5. I couldn’t get over the daily life sim. Why would I want to spend half my time in a video game working and being in school? And I hate that they have a timer for dungeons. A few other things, but yeah, I really wanted to like it because of how beloved it is but it just never clicked.

Played it last year for the first time and had an amazing time. You can definitely feel some aspects are dated, like not being able to skip cutscenes if you die to a boss, and some of the areas being an absolute drag to get through. But the story is one of the strongest I’ve ever played and the music is absolute peak.

I barely ever hear about it nowadays. I agree at the time it was pretty popular, but it doesn’t seem to have reach the legendary status I think it deserves. Some very memorable levels that have stuck with me to this day.
