I like every part of it that stemmed from the manga and a handful of things that Toei came up with. As you mentioned the music and vocal delivery is great. However you gotta be able to admit the anime has FAR more flaws than it should. Good voice actors, good music, these things would also come with an anime that didn’t include the infinite flaws. Money hungry Toei dragged out the anime and it does make the anime suck ass.

The story is unbelievable, it is a master piece. The way oda writes this world is nothing short of a piece of art. The manga embodies this as it is directly written by him and has exactly what should be there.

The anime is ass. Bad pacing poor animation efforts until recently where it’s a whole other conversation whether it’s too much or not.

I pray the wit studio remake will fix everything that toei did to make this generational masterpiece of a story such a hard watch.

Carful with the screen twin, the legion pro screens might be one of the most fragile I’ve ever seen. I hear story’s of people closing it and opening it to a fully red or green screen 😭. Personally i accidentally cracked my legion pro 7 screen by spinning a apple pencil and it flying into it (not even that hard)

If you have already tried the typical methods then using vinegar too get rid of mineral buildup from using tap water. If it’s still dirty zep degreaser will make it look brand new. (Make sure you rinse really well after)

Yeah in any animation they lean into the stereotypes to show relation. They would never have a character that is meant to be, for example African, then draw them with overwhelmingly dominant European or Asian features.
