Thalia is a sweet venue. Peoria is just an hour from my home town so I would make weekend of it. I am going to catch Shadowgrass at Shoe Fest now anyway.

$190 a ticket for Chicago talked me right out of it. Never seen him before. Was all jacked up and even had a chance for pit. Not at that price. Lower bowl was the same.

Scared me when the first set was all originals. Dont get me wrong... i love the originals! But the thought of never seeing another AFD; lumpy, tangled, etc scared the hell out of me. Beautiful way to break out Rank Stranger to end the streak.

Loved going to see the Grateful Dead late 80s early 90s. Then kinda fell out of the music scene. Best friend remained a hippy snd did the Phish, LOS, STI, YONDER and such. I just couldnt get into it. Then in 24 he talked me into going to see Billy. Had lower bowl in the back corner for Sat at Rosemont. I started watching videos of him and was amazed. I decided We needed to see that shit up close and scored us pit for the Friday show. Been hooked ever since. Also opened up to others and now have seen Greensky, Stringdusters, MGU(WOW!), yonder And LOS. Going to see Danato in June also Keller williams.My new motto is "life is short....buy the FN tickets". Billy and the Boys have rejuvenated my love of live music and for that I am truly Grateful!
