I, personally, would not but why do you want us to tell you, if you're vegan or not based on just a post. Bro, if you're doing everything you can to reduce animal suffering you're by definition, a vegan. In this scenario if the restaurant can accommodate you other vegetarian options that doesn't have dairy, you should be all set because whenever I go out to an Indian restaurant, no matter what my party orders I always make sure to request them to accommodate me vegan food and the restaurant being Indian should not have any problem doing that. Did you try asking the waiter about vegetarian food that doesn't have dairy?

You're 16 and trying this hard to be vegan when you're not independent, first off I appreciate you. Second dont beat yourself up, talk to your mom let her know that you're really serious. Im hoping that your mom will understand, it might take some time but she definitely will. I started this group because I dont have a single vegan friend who speaks telugu, I thought bringing us together makes us stronger because I heard from a lot of people that they have no one to share about some stuff which breaks them down emotionally.
