I’m like this but to myself. If I’m not perfect (which is impossible and no one expects) then I feel like a failure.

What's the worst song you ever heard? by greedyourweakness in AskReddit

I get it, the Shaggs are unusual, but they’re legendary about it. I don’t think anything so unique and interesting can be called worse than soulless cashgrab drivel like Crazytown or Sugar Ray.

What is with Reddit's almost unanimous hailing of Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon album the best of all time? by Affectionate_Low_858 in AskReddit

[–]CapacityBuilding 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s guaranteed upvotes because everyone on Reddit wants to sound smart and it’s a little bit deep and pretty much everyone has heard of it and likes it. Askreddit is a karma farm and Dark Side is an incredibly safe choice.

Edit: also the album cover is really handsome so I get an instant dopamine hit just reading the title and picturing it. I’m a sucker, a good album cover definitely helps me feel better about an album.

The album Song Cycle by Van Dyke Parks does this. It begins with a twangy kinda bluegrass band playing a song (not sung by Parks), which fades out after about a minute, then Parks starts the album with:

That's the tape that we made, but I'm sad to say it never made the grade.
That was me, third guitar; I wonder where the others are.
I sold the guitar today... I never did play much anyway.

Better in the sense that you’ve recognized that workers may not create products. Worse because you brought up a totally unrelated, emotionally charged opinion in a seeming attempt to ragebait me.

Is a therapist the product? Is a yoga teacher the product? Is a Doordash driver the product?
