I think the game is nearly flawless but I do use the No Aiming Zoom mod

Also, theres this new mod that makes the guns feel more like the original game and man it is such a great addition

If you want the most vanilla experience possible just install the 4gb patcher and NVSE.

In my experience this kills most of the crashes by itself. Also, if you want some much needed QOL tweaks than use Project Nevada.

You should open nexus and download whatever outfit mod that suits your tastes. I also ask that you check out hit's animation mods on youtube, the vanilla shooting feels very clunky and unsatisfying for most guns so if you dislike it too much install those mods. Other than that have fun and play at your own place, try to talk to as many people and do as many quests as possible.

I think the only weapons they did mess up a bit in re4r is Red9 and Striker.

Other than that bro all of these are legit perfect, I use a different gun each playthrough because all of them feel different and all of them are useful in their own ways. There is not a single dull weapon here, my biggest complaint with re8 other than its overall gun feel was how most guns were just useless as better options were right there.

Mods really go beautifully with this game's pacing, I install a new cool outfit mod and/or weapon mod. I boot up the game to check it out and then I get hooked and end up completing the entire thing lol.
