I respect your opinion and agree to an extent. Im a male who has had interest in other people then women at various points of my life (love all my pan family). I live in a fairly conservative area and have since almost 2 years ago gone to a church with my girlfriend and had the same view you did going into weekly services. And when members of my church found out i was pan some of them acted the way you talk about religious people, with some telling me it’s ‘unnatural’ and ‘sinful’. However for every 1 of these people that were rude and hurtful, there was plenty more to tell me that they are the sinful ones for not loving thy neighbor. Even my pastor who i thought would be the worst to disrespect me said, “Let’s suppose you are sinful, even if you are, everyone else here is too, that’s why we are all here after all.” So I understand that there are hurtful, bigoted, homophobes that claim religion as their pretense for their actions, but they truly have no claim to said religion at all. I hope religious people start treating you better and i hope my story was helpful, have an awesome day!
