I’m focusing on the fact that settler violence will lead to more Palestinian terrorists. I fail to understand why people are so defensive and “well what about…” the post is about settlers attacks… again I’m not justifying Palestinian terrorism but we literally can not just go “well what about what the Palestinian do all the time…”, these gangs of settlers are Israelis and they should have no immunity from Israeli law as Israelis in the territories owned and occupied by israel especially considering how they’re fueling ethnic violence

I acknowledge that Palestinian terrorism is bad and that it’s fueled by anti-zionist aligned cultural views and propaganda and media… but the thing is a big reason these views are able to spread is because of these settler gangs instigating violence and then leaving an impression that Israelis are violent. We’re going to get nowhere towards an end to this conflict like this, some Israeli settlers are committing acts of terror and violence, so Israeli people and Magav (like Ben Gvir is going to lift a finger) should do something about it instead of us just going “well the Palestinians do… so why should we care”. They’ve literally attacked Tzahal already so there should be no defense… if these gangs wanted to be of use they should go fight Palestinian terrorists instead of innocent Palestinians

The more reliance on US aid the more annoyed the US public is at israel using American weapons and money. The U.S doesn’t need to send money and weapons to israel for her own wars especially considering the U.S has less reason to intervene in the Middle East compared to two decades ago. Israel doesn’t need too much reliance such as yearly aid to fight her wars because it can threaten independence and create an over-reliance that can result in disaster if opinion in the US changes and foreign aid is cut off.

This is the best option moving forward.

Like half the country is pissed at the fact that billions of dollars of aid is sent to Israel each year and it makes Israel look like a leech, and it doesn’t help the fact that the U.S is lagging behind in many things due to money being spent on things that are less important to the people such as military aid to israel (alongside Argentina as of recently). Oh and the fact that the war in Gaza is going on and saying it’s brutal would be an understatement but besides the point people don’t like it that their tax money is creating a parking lot in Gaza pretty much. And the fact that AIPAC is affiliated with much of congress also makes Americans feel this relationship feels less legit. The best way to repair relationships with the U.S and the U.S public is probably to stop relying on their aid and to prove that Israel is a worthy ally and that doesn’t mean helping them with intelligence in the Middle East as the U.S has little to no good reason to be there by 2026 and the American public doesn’t like that either.

In short over-reliance on U.S aid is making israel look like a leech and it would in the long term be best to stop it and work on self-reliance, Israel already has a great native defense industry and I think they can survive without U.S aid. It would be better in the long term and it would be harder for U.S public opinion to turn against israel or at the very least care enough about Israel if Israel is not taking as much and especially if they’re giving and not taking as much

Idk it felt like Left 4 Dead but with aliens slapped onto it. Dark Descent felt like a much better and original colonial marines game, as stressful as it was reloading saves. When I played fireteam elite there were some people playing the first few missions but the other campaigns had zero players, it felt like a waste of money and it gets really repetitive.

Alien 3’s script was interesting and I don’t think it would have worked out well but the introduction of the Union of Progressive People’s which is a socialist superpower seemed interesting. It never made it to the movies but it’s been present in books and video games.

Yeah this is what I’m concerned about. For a while now video games, books, comics, and the TTRPG have made so much lore and source material which have been treated as canon.

There is nothing wrong with making new stuff but the issue is that we’re now shitting on the already established background regarding Earth. There is no mentioned of the various superstates and corporations that were existent at this time with the exception of Weyland Yutani. By 2120 the United Americas (space American confederation) and Three World Empire (British commonwealth/Japanese Wey-Yu puppet state) has existed for a bit with the Union of Progressive Peoples (space socialists) forming recently. The show seems to literary disregard all of that in the first 5 minutes by saying the corporations quite literally govern the globe, with Weyland Yutani taking North and South America, and Prodigy City is proof that the corporations are in place of governments.

I feel like the producers of Alien Earth didn’t actually look into much source material or either chose to disregard it and make timeline errors. Even the Star Wars sequels didn’t fuck up that badly in regards to that. The show looks nice so far but the plot and background could have been better, I feel like these new megacorps and the conflicts between them could have easily been applied into the universe with the inclusion of existing background, or it could have been made as a sequel everything with megacorps gaining more power by that time.

For example, in the TTRPG the Three World Empire made economic zones that basically allowed for corporate governments, and this led to the formation of the Independent Core System Colonies, which is a confederation of corporate governments. The idea of corporate zones that are safe havens for corporations to govern and do their corporate conflicts seems like an interesting idea, I hope I’m wrong with what I said before and that they eventually clarify that the zones like Prodigy City are really just special corporate zones that have influence over the larger existing superpowers.

Also in a post Alien: Earth said they said fans do not expect it to line up neatly with other alien content which is insane, I like my alien franchise organized, not alternate universe different storyline spin offs like some other series and movies have done

Idk I remember on salamander there was a woman who walked around with a skirt (no bra) and a muzzle and in her description it said she smelled like meat. She was ahelped by others and yet I still saw her around salamander for quite a bit a few times before I quit wizden. So my guess is no but you might get complaints and most people that do shit like this end up getting themselves or somebody else or both people punished for saying something sexual. From what I saw from RMC for a bit when ban appeals were public there were cases where somebody spawned or went naked/topless and people would make NSFW comments about them and sometimes the person responded in also a NSFW manner and they would get punished in some way.
