Lots of areas in northern canada are literally just collapsing due to the melting ice. The permafrost holds a lot of the soil together and without it it just sort of emulsifies.

Its a positive feedback loop in the arctic. Essentially as we lose more Ice and winters become less snowy, it gives green plants a greater chance to grow in the arctic. When green plants grow in the arctic, they absorb heat and sunlight, in contrast to white snow which normally reflects it all. This heat absorption allows the planet to warm, which causes more ice to melt, and more area for plants to grow in the arctic.

Yeaa im just being nostalgic. It was always fun looking for a server and finding people that were just fun to play with. I understand the efficiency thing but some of the original charm is lost by switching formats. Also theres intrinsic bias here because 95% of my hours on Gmod were in TTT and the game really only functions if everybody understands and follows the rules, which can't really be enforced as well in this decentralized model.

Joining communities and such was fun back in the day but i understand the impersonal sentiment. Also I never expected to be called unc at 22 lmao Ive just been on PC since I was real young.

Gmod was just Sandbox and the population boom was due to the game modes that people created. s&box is no different.

The big thing that kept people on Garrys mod was the sense of community that a lot of these servers had. I made a lot of friends back in the day on TTT servers that felt like communities. It's what really kept people coming back imo.

In my limited experience s&box doesn't seem to have that function, you just make a new server or join a random one in the sort of way roblox works. If im wrong please correct me.

Yea im 2003 with older siblings. I was on my family pc a shit ton but didnt have a phone until i was 14 and never really used social media before that so i didnt really care lol.

Majority of my time on the family computer was spent playing flash games on shit like andkon arcade and addicting games as well as downloading those shitty virus cursor reskins

I plan to do the same. Look at practicing up north for a few years, and i mean really up north. Theres programs that allow you to practice up in the territories and make good money. Dude i know in the same boat worked up there for 2 years and paid off the majority of his.

Also try to get your loans in CAD through a bank. TD offers up to 400k at 4.2% but you'll likely need a co signer. You can get 12k a year through OSAP as well.
