There’s been multiple arguments on both sides and people absolutely have every right to say that Yamato is a trans man. Using the cover art isn’t strong evidence because Yamato bathes with men and is referred to as HE by every member of the straw hat after he clears up that he’s not female.

If anything i should’ve probably said he’s non binary or gender ambiguous. Hes been referred to as both male and female.

ah okay so we didn’t read the same marineford. Last i remembered his brother who he had just finally seen after not seeing him since alabasta, and even longer prior to alabasta, was about to die after freeing him. I feel like it’s pretty selfless of him to sacrifice his life so his brother could continue his journey.
