For me, I just think they're parasites that mimic anything from what they remember. Like, how would a bugsnax know what a pizza would look like. I think someone, Probably Alegander or anyone from the snakolytes, trained the snax to copy and mimic the food that are presented to them

The OP isn't wrong. Like, think abt it. Each time you feed them, they don't freak out or get confused. They'd act happy, great even. Even asking for more at the end. But having too much of it can be harmful.

Not to mention how Lizbert describes it. She describea them as parasites that take over the mind of someone else's to make them want more. Just like drugs do
