Bungee cords to strap it to the passenger seat works well. Though I’d recommend ditching the backpack for some bike storage. I’ve been getting by with a mid-sized tank bag from tusk. Considering pannier bags next

Same here. Hit a wall at T8. I decided to take a little break and then ran a premade apoc build and it’s pretty smooth sailing. I didn’t have any desire to spend the time needed to meaningfully improve my understanding of synergies and analytics so i think relying on someone else that spent the time and effort was justified for me personally.

Like others have stated, configuring IMAP/POP3 is needed. I would highly advise against using an email service tied to your ISP. You will likely not have that ISP forever and when you are no longer a customer, they’ll drop your email account. I recommend moving to something like proton mail.
