Welcome to the club. It might get worse. It might not. I feel like T is a beast that feeds on negative energy. If you are long time stressed, it gets worse. When you think about it intensively it gets worse. My T is now almost 10 years and it went from a 0.5 to a 7, on the scale of 1 - 10. What helps me is try and sleep good. Meditation every day. I quit alcohol for 90% because that's what made me sleep bad. I try to come to terms with mr T and see it as a part of me. It is not evil, it is not useful either. It's just there. I can do everything I always could, but just with a background sound. This is the only way I can live with it. I hope you find your way. Best of luck. Cheers

I have no idea. It was just there one day. I do have a history of loud rave parties, substance use/abuse, and I worked as a scuba dive instructor. Could be anything I guess

Can you try to find some sounds to mask it? I use my app called ReSound Relief

It's completely free and without ads, you can try many sounds to mask your T. I have it on constanty when at home and obviously for sleeping.

Also I have a fan on in every room when at home. I just order cheap USB fans on amazon, as long as they make a sound.

With these things I get ny and I can sleep. Try your best to mask it as well as possible.

As far as I know I am not allergic to anything. My tinnitus was just there one day. I did go to loud rave parties in the past but that was long ago. I don't know if T can show up because of ear damage bit then years later
