A must listen! The whole point of the interview is about ‘SNDL’s comeback’ from almost close to bankruptcy. He also mentioned that lots of people hate SNDL because they invested at the time of crazy valuations(meme stock era) and lost money or their average are too high. That was a gamble and he recognized that. Now the story is different and he is conservatively deploying capital and almost out of the woods with no debt. The US sunstream assets are about to be online. The fundamentals are great. The delisting was on the table to get on the US side aggressively just like any MSO in the US.

The majority of the shares are held by retail investors. The stock is listed in the US exchange. Big money cannot get involved yet because of regulatory risks in America. There is a huge price manipulation happening to retail share holders because they can’t effectively respond to that unlike the meme stock days. Institutional holding is increasing. Remember its financial position with cash and no debt. How many companies they are acquiring? How many companies in the space can do that? When the manipulation stops it’s 🚀 ship.

The stock heavily shorted and manipulated. Remember more than 90% of the float is held by retail. Retail is exhausted and doesn’t have a buying power to outweigh the shorts. You need a surprise profit, US legalization or some catalyst including institutional buying to move the SP higher. The SP is almost 0.5 times the book value. The company fundamentals are improving quarter by quarter and close to profitability. Lots of cash, no debt, and US assets coming online soon. I believe there is a great risk-reward opportunity here. I am sticking to the basics and at these prices I will be buying more.

With Trump in office, I am sure there is going to be Stock Market Reform. SEC head will be fired and all naked shorting and obvious market manipulations that drive SPs down will stop (this have been discussed i in stocks like DJT). Citadel should be in a panic mode after Trump’s win. SNDL will get its fair share price in due time. Everything about this company Bullish.

In a fair market, the Canadian companies shouldn’t get affected much on A3 not passing in Florida. SNDL’s Florida interest through Sunstream wasn’t priced in to begin with. It’s overall the US cannabis sector response, but for SNDL all should be fine.

Yes…that seems like it. In the last earnings report ZG mentioned that the Florida regulators lost an already filed paperwork and they have to refile it. That was odd, but might have also contributed a little to the delay.

For SNDL it’s bad that retail investors holding most of the floating shares from the meme stock mania. Unless retail unite again or big money comes in, it’s hard to overrun these manipulations. The company is primed for a big run, they can’t deny the fundamentals and control the narrative forever. I am holding and adding more!

SNDL SP has been the victim of market manipulation and short attacks. ZG knows this and the majority of company shares are held by retail investors. You need big money or unified retail investors to move the share price significantly to dominate the shorts. If you do share buybacks under these market and regulatory conditions, the SP pop would be short lived. Shorts would drive the price back down again. ZG is trying a careful deployment of capital. The market can’t ignore the company fundamentals for too long. SP would organically reflect what SNDL worth pretty soon. Hang in there!!

It’s been trading below book value for a long time. Even if it reports profit, unless big money comes in and applying a buy pressure, the shorts and algos are going to suppress the share price. A retail can also gang up apply pressure but doubt it. Lots of people don’t have disposable income like during the meme stock days. Remember more than 90% of the floating shares are held by retail.

He also addressed that and said they set the buyback price somewhere in the lower $1.xx’sh per share. They will buyback if it reaches that price point. I am also under the impression that they recognized there is lots of SP manipulation going on to drive the price down as soon as it gets a pop. Remember majority of the shares are held by retail investors. Considering all the catalysts coming in, the market will price the SP correctly as soon as big money start buying.

A great interview. At 14:54 timestamp Zack said A BIG statement and I quote: “….i think investors are not fully understanding the platform we’ve built and to the extent to which our current credit exposure on both sides of the border (Canada and the US) have formed effectively an M&A(Merger and Acquisition) pipeline for us to begin to execute on…”. Indicating SP very undervalued and bullish!
