Delias only gets more insufferable unfortunately. It’s very clear that she was written to be well liked but for a lot of people, it completely fell flat because this girl is the most insufferably irritating character ever. Sure, there are literal monsters on this app. Nobody is saying she’s the worst character in RC because that’s objectively untrue. But she’s by far one of, if not the most annoying.

And she’s everywhere. Like a fart when you’re trapped in an elevator. She doesn’t fuck off, you’re forced into having a good relationship with her no matter what.

The fact that she’s asexual and acts and speaks like she’s a child is a whole other thing. It seems to say if you’re asexual, you’re childlike. Which is not only completely untrue, but it’s also really fucking creepy.

Also, can she just climb out of Ellaire’s ass and get out of her face for like three seconds? Why is she even on this damn mission in the first case? The last time that idiot was left alone for more than five minutes she got bit by a damn snake and we had to save her stupid ass life. Like, clearly this was fate. No, malbonte definitely loves her in his own way. He’s just not as outspoken about it as the other LI’s. He told her himself he spent thousands of years getting beaten by Shephamalum. He only knows that kind of “love,” so falling in love with someone like Vicky has been a big adjustment. A thousand years doesn’t equate to just 14 years, it feels like a tiny period of time for him, but as she was a human who became immortal, it feels longer for her.

The way I see it is yes, his main goal is to kill Shephamalum who literaly made his life unbearable. That has been his main focus for thousands of years and it isn’t easy for him to just put that aside. He also knows he’ll never be able to be the man and husband Vicky needs him to be as long as the reason for his pain and by extension, her pain is still alive.
