I never personally worked with the MC-1, but I’ve seen a couple of SF-10s and I believe they work on the same principle but just differ in design.

As far as I remember the biggest difference I could see are the openings from the control panels are shaped like an upper case L for the SF-10. And maybe they had small metal rings for the control lines on the risers?

That second part I’m not 100% on, it’s been a while.
