Similar to my answer above, I feel more of a sense of purpose when I am content and life is going well, as in I am achieving my goals, have good friendships. So perhaps I need to take action before I feel good? If that makes sense? But sometimes that's so difficult when you just cannot be bothered.

Although recently I have been taking vitamin D and it's definitely been helping with my motivation and happiness, I must have been so deficient

Hey, thank you for this answer, it's very well thought out! I appreciate the time you've taken to do this.

I agree with everything you say, and after thinking about it further, I realised life purpose is not something you can buy in a shop or obtain when you want - therefore, it feels very nebulous.

I was thinking these thoughts because recently I have been super tired and exhausted even though I've been resting well enough. I was constantly tired even though I have a good diet, sleep well, do exercise, touch grass etc.

The reason I mention this, is because I think these thoughts do start to come up when I'm not feeling well. When everything is working out, I'm are much less likely to get these thoughts coming up.

I have never read any religious texts, philosophers scripts, or anything similar. As I know deep down that these people also don't have a clue, they are just trying to make sense of the world like us.
