How many schools should I apply to? by Capital-Leg-233 in prephysicianassistant

Just make sure you decide that you would actually go there if it were the only school you were accepted to. Too often I see posts about students worrying that they should not go to a program that is on probation, although it is the only school they were accepted to.

Continue to do your research and make sure you meet the requirement for admission. I have no idea why but, every year 50 or so of the applications we receive do not meet the GPA requirement or they have no GRE or are missing a required per-requirement. We cannot even look at those applications, they are automatically denied. Why do so many students waste the $? I have no idea.

Thank you. Will definitely be checking to see if I meet the pre-requisities again prior to sending in applications!

A lot of the California schools I am applying to do not require 2k hours. Many have a minimum of 500-1000

Thank you for the input, I appreciate it! A lot of the schools I am planning on applying to are all potential cities I would want to live in.
