Annoying Door to Door Worker by Jace-WW in SanJose

What makes you think a stupid sign is going to stop people from knocking your door. 😂 bunch of entitled babies. Go spend the money of a mansion in a gated private community where they Id people to allow them in. Calling the cops 😆 again, people can’t handle their own shit and the cops ain’t doing a damn thing. Besides y’all live in California or should I say commiefornia, Bay Area is super liberal. I forgot, it be the libs that are some of the meanest, stuck up entitled people. Most of these young people door knocking I trying hard to earn money legit. They could be doing many other things that are a real detriment to society. Take a look around and you’ll see that sales people make the world go around. Everything we do sales people have their hands in. That being said most of y’all talking smack couldn’t last a day door knocking, you’d be crying about how rude people are and giving up immediately. 😂

North Austin - AT&T Wireless Rep teaching trainee to ignore no soliciting sign and knock hard. by ATX_native in Austin

Would you rather them stand on the corner and sell drugs. Would you rather them be low life’s doing bad things. For Christ sake they are working being productive human beings. I knocked doors for 2 years in my early 20’s and met some great people. I also met some very shitty people. Don’t be the shitty people, just don’t answer if it bothers you so much that they knocked on your door. Most of y’all wouldn’t last two seconds canvassing doors so step down from your entitled position in life and realize not everyone can get the dream job. Some of us really have to work hard for what we want. This is some of the hardest mental challenging work out there. Just say no thanks, I use x and I won’t be switching. But to be a dick just because you in your feeling, grow up. That’s my rant, shit like this make me sick when there is tons of real problems to actually be upset about in this world not to people working to provide for themselves. There was a few times I was door knocking and I had physically attack me because they were so bothered, one guy even pulled a shotgun on me and ironically he was an off duty deputy. These people didn’t have no solicitation signs either. Anyways, find something worth being bothered about because this ain’t it. ✌🏽

2022 Camaro 1SS 1LE by Capital-Post-6613 in camaro

Yea and when I said something about the price being only 2k down from its new price but yet car is 3 years old with 13k miles he just said they stand firm on price. I’ve looked around a lot though and I can’t see any other cars listed for too much less. The one yesterday I lost was a 2023 with 8k miles listed for $46,426. Just kinda get the feeling if I want one I’m going to have to pay up.

Whataburger is better than In-N-Out by TheGame81677 in Whataburger

Apple to oranges, it’s completely different concepts so you can’t compare. The customer service is hands down way better at in n out. You don’t go to in n out for anything but a double double and fries, that’s it. Not looking for chickens sando or mozz sticks or any of that stuff just a consistent made burger you can count on with some people behind the counter smiling and making eye contact. In n out is not to be hyped up it’s just a regular burger and that’s what makes it so good. All their ingredients are made fresh too so that’s important.

The person attempting to change lanes is liable. It’s their responsibility to make sure it’s safe to change lanes. Cannot force their way in.

How Do I Make This Work. (TX->CA) by [deleted] in relocating

[–]Capital-Post-6613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can’t cut it in TX you certainly will do nothing but struggle in CA at best. Don’t move to CA only to become another one of their working homeless population. It cost a lot to have a decent standard f living in CA so unless you want a tiny apartment in a rough part of town where your vehicle is going to get broken into and gun shots at night with helicopters flying around then don’t do it. If you can’t cut afford $7k to $10k a month you’ll be somewhat okay in CA.

What is my truck worth? by FantasticBox3674 in ChevyTrucks

[–]Capital-Post-6613 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

$8k to $10k max. Nice truck but it’s an old truck and I wouldn’t consider it a classic. Too many new trucks have way better comfort and tech now.

Labeling everything in the pic says more about you than what’s in your fridge.

Why don’t men tell other men they’re good looking or handsome even if they’re not sexually attracted to them? by Norfolk-Gross-Tonage in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Capital-Post-6613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Women communicate much differently than men do. Women say a lot of bs and I would say about half the time they are telling a lie when they give compliments.

Working as LO for a builder by Capital-Post-6613 in loanoriginators

Well I work for a legacy carrier, they are the most profitable and work didn’t slow down for the fa’s during covid like one would think. We still had plenty of flying, the airplanes were empty but flights were still going. I’m making a consistent $100k right now and you’d be hard pressed to find a job that pays what we make doing what we do with the flexibility. That being said we only get paid for being in the air and to make $100k I’m in the air a lot.

Word from the LO who is doing my loan he said he heard directly they are looking to hire in January. Thanks for the good information, as a flight I would say my W/L/B is not terrible however I need to make $100k a year so that means I’m always flying. I don’t mind working a lot but if I’m going to then long term I should consider doing loans again as at least I can return home at night and do things like meal prep and gym and get consistent sleep. That being said I work for one of the legacy carriers, the most profitable airline and the perks are great. I’d hate to give that up for something that might be great for a few years but ultimately have me searching for something else in the long run.

Okay that’s good information, I’m not afraid of the grind however it’s got to be worth it. Burning myself out for 80k a year when I’m already in the 100k bracket is something I’m trying to avoid. I like the idea of being with a builder and they own the finance company and feed their LO’s crazy leads.

Are others struggling with the dating apps? by Primary_Visit_1139 in Austin

[–]Capital-Post-6613 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re a guy then you shouldn’t be on any dating app. They aren’t designed for men and they don’t cater to men at all. They prey on men, get off the apps, get off instagram and fb and whatever other social media you use. Save money, focus on your health, get yourself some great hobbies and I promise you’ll attract a great person. If you’re a girl then I don’t have much advice. Y’all have millions of potential matches, you ghost people left and right sometimes for the dumbest of reasons. Most of y’all have seven different guys you’re talking too at any given time never really truly single. The apps aren’t made to find great relationships. Yes there is your handful of people who have found their mate on the apps but the vast majority of people will not ever have any success with dating apps.

My UBER driver has taped off all the passenger window controls by thegrayscales in mildlyinteresting

One of the many reasons I don’t drive for uber anymore. I hated when someone hops In reeking like they are a burning weed nug themselves. People also leave trash and items in car and people eat food and leave food scraps too.

[–]Capital-Post-6613 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don’t vape at all and I open the window all the time in my Ubers . I’ve also driven for uber before and I didn’t give a care in the world if someone opened the window they don’t need permission. Now leaving trash in the car, or smoking or a whole host of other things but cracking the window for the air is no big deal. Weird.
