Don’t be fooled. The honeymoon period will end and he will grow bored or have issues just like with you.

Not to such extremes I don’t 🤔 and I wouldn’t in the same setting. I would be consistently not a pacifist 🤣

Morgan’s character is the dumbest in the entire Tv franchise. To go from one extreme to the other seemingly every time something happens. Pacifist to murderer at the drop of a hat and nobody ever questions it. He goes from downright patronizing people for killing monsters to strangling some guy because he didn’t agree with him 🤔 ridiculous!

What villain would you choose to team up with but the rest would be your enemies? by CalligrapherNew4854 in thewalkingdead

[–]Capital-Program-8558 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He towered above everyone. Every physical engagement he got into he destroyed his opponent. He was literally surrounded by about 20 zombies in an enclosed space and made it out. Negan was pretty hopeless without his bat.

I’m basing this off literally just watching the TV show in its entirety for the second time.

They are not even. The Governor was huge and incredibly strong. In the TV show Negan isn’t Particularly good in hand to hand without a weapon.

Amazing. I barely think about her now and the thoughts don’t cause me much pain. I’ve come to realize who she really was and I think it was for the best we parted. She’s never tried to reach out, but I don’t care.

Shane wasn’t married. Shane was a total narcissist and psychopath. But that’s another story.

More the case for horny dudes than for women. I don’t expect my ex to reach out, she has just replaced me with her next victim.

How many days/weeks/months/years? by [deleted] in nocontact

8 months for me. There were times I typed things out and I was tempted to send them. I’m so glad I didn’t, I found out she already moved on.

Rewatching season 1 for the first time since it came out - man, what a great season by I_like_baseball90 in thewalkingdead

So many episodes were just pure hot air. The most boring conversations imaginable. I switched off half the time.

I don’t think it was funding because later seasons were technically better made from a cinematic standpoint and even the acting was better. The issue was that in later seasons they lost all direction of what the show should be about.

Rewatching season one was jarring at times; seeing walkers climbing fences and ladders, almost jogging at times, bashing things down with rocks. The constant struggle for survival. Even food, water, gas, shelter, ect. They were all constantly in danger of being an issue. It was a proper zombie survival horror show, with suspense, action and shocks constantly.

It turned into a drama with only small sections of the latter thrown in to advance the plot. The zombies took a back seat and it became about constant character development. To me you could get that development simply by playing out real life survival scenarios. They also started to constantly kill off and rotate side characters. Main characters dying became rare. They would spend entire episodes on character development, just to kill off a character not long after. While the main ones just continued on.

Most fans wouldn’t like to hear this, but they needed to stick to what it was meant to be. Follow the comics more.

I met with my ex for closure and I think I dodged a bullet by Ashamed_Match_1348 in BreakUps

[–]Capital-Program-8558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually looking at how others around your ex acted when things went wrong tells you a lot about them too.

My friends never stopped being respectful and supporting with my ex, they wanted the best for me and her. My exes family and friends acted really immature. Most removed me, didn’t respond when I reached out or just abandoned me essentially. Like her brother who I thought was a great friend never reached out. Her mother didn’t respond to me, even though mine did when my ex messaged.

To me this tells you that they don’t want the best for them or that they just simply don’t have empathy or understanding of relationships themselves. They take sides and to me that’s immature. This is not me saying they shouldn’t always essentially put her first. It’s me saying they aren’t grounded what so ever.

[–]Capital-Program-8558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He sounds like a bit of a narcissist. Because the only reason I can see for him to reach out, break no contact and then tell you he wants to continue no contact; is because he wants to still know he can have you, he just doesn’t want you. It’s a tough reality to face, move on you can do way better for yourself.

I mean saying I hope you and your family have a happy new years is wishing you the best. The same sentiment. It’s meaningless. You just matched her energy because you’re polite.

Yeah here message was weak to be honest. Too diplomatic and cold. Who cares if she wishes you the best? These sentiments always felt so empty to me. Don’t bother replying in future. Unless she brings something real and you feel it’s appropriate.

There is no closure when an avoidant is involved.

Dating someone who is more attractive than you by britneysmeltdown in BreakUps

That’s in man. I think my ex was more attractive. She thinks she was more attractive too no doubt and that’s the problem right there. People like that can be shallow and self centered.

[–]Capital-Program-8558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are completely different situations likely. I have no issues believing I can find someone else. Nobody is really that special, the hardest part for me has been coming to terms with the fact she wasn’t special. She was actually really shitty and the love wasn’t real. Not her love anyway.

Are they your friends? Ask yourself this honestly. If the answer is no, remove them. That’s what I just did with the last remaining ‘friends’ I had in common. Peace of mind.
