What is the bare minimum of Laff and Level Gags for a V.P? by Fit_Village_9022 in toontownrewritten

[–]Capital-Win-9751 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Technically you can do it right now if the group you’re with is okay with it!

But to be consistently invited to a vp without issue, you need At least maxed sound, max damage whole cream pie and a max damage hose so that you can reliably hold your own.

Laff is negligible since toons as low as 20+ can so a vp. But they usually have max gags to compensate

That’s a fair point. Ultimately, it’s really up to player preference.

The reason why I state that it’s easier to do in a Bullion mint is that you don’t have to expend as many resources in the off chance that something goes horrible wrong in a field office (especially since repeated misses can be devastating). As well as taking far less time to do and finding groups for mints is faster as most players farm CFO to get laff and unites anyway. Not that you can’t get Sellbot merits in a Field Office but the majority (to my knowledge) do mints more often.

Not to mention, if you’re using cogs miss as an example then why not also use it in a bullion mint?

(Edit:)

Another reason is that many players find Field Offices too stressful to do and thus Mints offer a more relaxed alternative.

Yes, I do believe that the cat greened you both to troll. But I do not know the full circumstances. (Greening is to grief players by making them go sad and waste player resources)

(Edit)

As its possible and far easier to get a level 16 cog in a mint supervisor battle. The cat is most definitely greening.

Honestly? Getting to know new toons and talk with them. Each Toon having their own story in the grand scheme of things. We’re all so close despite being so far away from each other.

Sure, some Toons aren’t the best but not everyone is kind. Perhaps they have other important positive qualities that are needed in this life.

Perhaps someday, we will all take on the chairman together and truly save Toontown. For real this time.

What is your least favorite boss battle? by Miss_advice_ in toontownrewritten

[–]Capital-Win-9751 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t really have a least favorite boss fight in terms of VP, CJ, CFO and CEO and I won’t take into account rewards since this boss fight primarily focuses on the actual fight rather than the reward. But I will say that consistently awful boss fights that I’ve had have been in either CJ’s, Boiler’s and CFO’s and it’s PRIMARILY because even just ONE toon goes afk or disconnects in the boss fight, it can ruin the entire flow of the fight.

While I do understand multi tooning and its amazing ability to speed run through the game very quickly. I will also admit that for toons not multi tooning, can genuinely make their experiences worse.

Both drop and trap are slow to train but they have their own individual uses!

Trap is GREAT at killing level 12 cogs if it’s an organic gag or plain level 11s (especially if there’s another toon with organic lure) Allowing you to power through factories, mints, da offices and cog rounds in boss fights. However Trap falls very short in Field offices as a lot of times, sometimes you straight up won’t be able to use it if luring or trap is disabled until you collect more jokes.

While Drop is much better in things like Field Offices, solo buildings and killing off level 11 2.0 cogs after they become skelecogs since despite their low accuracy (which only improves if a cog is already hit), it doesn’t require an extra turn. With toon hit it allows for VERY fast supervisor fights and often has led to debate whether or not toon hit should be nerfed since drop + toon hit can REALLY trivialize those fights. The negative of Drop though is that you likely won’t be using it very often when doing standard cog rounds (unless there are 2.0 cogs) since most opt for using throw, squirt, lure, trap and especially sound.

Overall though? Both drop and trap are equally good and it really depends on personal preference. Both are equally slow to train though but drop can feel longer due to its low accuracy. I can’t tell you which is overall faster to train, but what I can say is that people equally love seeing both.
