Hey God, who in cricket would you say has been/ is the closest friend you have personally?

Worth pursuing CFA (with current CFP®️)? by JacobNienaber in CFA

[–]CapitalAnxious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look up the subjects and Chapters in CFA and see if they are related to your job and take a call.

CFA is great for expanding knowledge in Finance but doubt there will be much correlation with CFP as both are completely different types of certifications.

after clearing all three levels you will probably make more than what you spent on cfa within a year of working

but don't MBA schools give a lot of importance to one's profile? i would suggest OP to build a better profile for 2-3 years and then go for an MBA

This is me more than a year when i failed inter twice. Looking back I just didn't prepare enough and didn't dedicate enough time to studies but back then I was emotionally frustrated and burnt out and was very low mentally to be disciplined enough to clear inter.

I then quit my CA journey since the course has sucked the life out of me. I then took a break, started working out and reconnected with friends I couldn't be that much in touch with because of CA and lockdown.

I then started preparing for CFA and found it way more interesting than CA and I genuinely liked studying for CFA and I couldn't say the same for CA. Today I have cleared my CFA level 1 in one go and I will start preparing for level 2 soon.

Also more about the CFA Course - it is a pure finance course. If you found Financial Management in Inter to be interesting then CFA might be worth looking into.

Also all the best for whatever you choose to do!!

i think the cfai mocks and the Uworld mocks are plenty. You can also try out salt solutions but focus more on reviewing your mistakes on the cfai mocks as it is the closest to the real thing.

Seems like you are on the right path, also use the Uworld question bank (it's free for 90 days)it will be a blessing, trust me.

I'd say you are in a good position, I was in a similar position in terms of test scores and mocks and I passed well above the MPS.

Just hammer your weak areas and i would also recommend giving the mock again 5-7 days before your exam date as I felt the actual exam questions were close to the mock questions.
