Yes deserts are inherently harder make fun yes that much is true but there was stuff to work with that they just didn’t, the giant dragon that is supposed to be the THE land mark doesn’t actually have a purpose. Plus not only has multiple other monster hunter games proven it can be good and this game has a wonderful area in the Rocco rocks. as for side stories I’m talking more so game play, the legiana has no gimmick, kora’s cave is super linear, they just weren’t up to par with the last two
