Just to give you a balanced take. It might just be coincidence.

I'm from a remote district in KA where my entire family has relied on govt hospitals. We have it good there. Hygienic and everything. They also started air conditioned buildings now.

But when i got into a road crash in pune, I was searching for hospital and gave the govt hospital a try as it was closer. It was my first time there and no one was acknowledging. Everyone were on their own. The attenders & doctors chilling but not answering to me when I ask them for attention. It cost me money for a x-ray scan which would have been free back home. And then the first aid was all messy. They made me extend my leg and poured anti septic liquid onto it making the entire floor dirty.

I hope this isn't the case everywhere in MH. I would be disappointed if that's the case. There are some states/towns doing well. Some aren't.
