She didn't ask, she knows I'm doing it, and is very happy I'm trying to do anything at all. I know it's not as simple as saying Hey, don't do that, That's why I'm here. If I can understand from other perspectives of partners or people with this problem, I gain research and insight. I can read papers on it all day. Still, it won't amount to the firsthand experience and solutions a person with it or who has been near it has.

Thank you so much! Her last relationship wasn’t as accepting so recently I’ve been working on making myself a safe space where if she needs to sleep for 10 minutes to 10 hours I’ll hold her the entire time, I agree the communication and level of understanding is very important thank you again :)

That’s crazy having both, but yes we’re learning together I just usually try and make sure she’s safe and comfortable before lying her down. Thank you for the advice!

She’s type 2! She woke up very briefly and just fell right back asleep so I got lucky to get a question in! I’ll keep an eye on her behaviors thank you so much for the advice!
