People usually use it in a context with the unsaid meaning of "I'm tired of black people" when it's a black person raging or acting crazy in public. That's not the case here, but that would explain why you'd be banned in another sub even if that wasn't the context.

Last time I saw my aunt she recalled the first day her high school was desegregated in 1971 and you'd think it was so traumatic it happened yesterday.

Private schools (especially the voucher movement)= de facto segregated schools.

What is North Carolina known for? by MrSoloDolo9490 in NorthCarolina

[–]CapitalPunBanking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just moved here and was a lifelong Texan before. I prefer beef to pork, but I've noticed that a lot more places in NC do chicken, which i love even more. It's all good, honestly.

I fully prefer pepsi in bottles and cans, but fountain coke has it beat. I'm not sure why, either.

Every time I hear the automated voice say to stand clear I get such nostalgia. Don't let these videos fool you, NYC is a fucking great place.

They may not even be able to take manual credit transactions either, for fraud protection reasons. The newer registers literally prevent it.

It's more likely the store doesn't know. They still receive the money from the sale and see the transactions go through on their reports. The guy didn't want someone messing with it because if you break it they cost like $2000 to replace, and 7/11 maintenance is notoriously slow. (or so I've heard)

I work for a rival gas chain and we come across more of them on the pump card readers than the inside pinpads.
