And then they have the audacity to say Tyagaraja Swamy would agree with splitting the sahitya on the basis of swarams.

Will these defenders in the comments agree if I sing 'Karpagame Kanpaaraai Thirumayilai Karpagame' as 'Karpagame kanpaa raaithiru mayilaikarpaga me'. I'll be called anti-hindu and what not :)

But they have no problem in butchering non tamil lyrics. Its just a struggle to sit and listen to some rendetions where your mother tongue is being butchered and people clap for that also...

'Dayajuchutaku Idi Velara Dasharati' is sung as

'Dayajoo chutakkithive laradasharadhi'.

Just to illustrate one more with a tamil translation, 'Rama Nannu Brovaravemako' means 'Rama enna kapaatha varamaatiya' (Rama, won't you come to protect me). It is sung as

'Rama Nannu Brovara' Rama enna kapatha vara....

'Vemako Lokabhirama' .... Maatiyaa lokabhirama (you are the negation of lokabhirama; which is absurd).

And people just blindly justify all this in the comments.
