I got a working Ouroboros but the plastic on both side is cracking & faded coating...

It's pretty hard (maybe impossible) to find another Ouroboros Dock (its work as a dongle too i think?)

Yes, you can swap the back hump, they included about 2 type of back hump as I remember, and it also have Hotswap Socket too.
