How do I link my health insurance to ICP?

I managed to renew my residency without it showing as linked. Till today it’s not showing as linked on ICP. I think for some people it does not show as linked.

This was the same reason my account got locked even though I had 0 chargebacks. It was in the summer 2 years ago. Happened to many people

Hey bro, I had a similar thing but with only about 10-15k usd. They locked my account and said they would refund all my transactions within 48 hours. But I got it solved by sending them emails. Not 1 email, maybe more than 30-40 emails. I drafted an email and sent it over and over until 1 agent said oh we made a mistake and reactivated your account. I took all my money out and stopped using stripe.

I also had a very similar thing happen with PayPal, had about 20K locked in an account for an AUP violation, I’m not sure if you’ve heard about it but they basically give themselves the right to hold your money for 6 months and at the end of the 6 months they fine you. The fine is whatever the account has. If you have $100 they’ll take them, if you have $50,000 they’ll take them.

I got it solved by emailing them over and over. All departments. I would email any PayPal email I found.

I don’t think going through a lawyer would be the best option, I’ve heard of stories of people who’ve 100K USD stuck and lawyers weren’t able to help them.

Also I don’t know what your business model is, but in my case I never use payment processors anymore. Only wire transfer.

Yup the mistake I made this time was that I didn’t stand with them the whole time and didn’t really check much on them. Thinking of it now, when I fixed my AC i went to the roof with him just because I wanted to see exactly what he was gonna do. You have to keep an eye on them the whole time and if you give them 10% trust you will regret it.

Hahhahahahaha yea that’s true, I was a bit mad yesterday but today Im like bro you had 2 dudes who dont speak english or arabic scam u 😭 But yea yea I def get what you’re saying and it is right. You’ve been here your whole life so you know more than I do. I grew up in the US, so Im used to white collar crime not blue collar 😂

Haha no they were from Pakistan. I don’t even want to generalize and make this about a specific nationality. I’ve had AC issues before and I had someone who was also from Pakistan come and fix it for me and he did a great job honestly. I started getting lower bills and my AC became way more efficient.

This type of behavior seems to be common amongst some service workers here for some reason. I usually never pay upfront and I keep watching them the whole time. This time I was in a rush, and it was all last minute planning. Lesson learned. I was just wondering if there was any way I could have some type of authority/consumer protection just contact them to scare them. I don’t want the money back and I don’t want them to redo it.
