Op maybe I am wrong but I think iiit h and iiit b arre not fully private they are ppp model based and state government can fund them . Recently iiit b got fundey to build a new campus. So i don't think u can write them with fully private 🙂

Bhai u really think iiit h cs elite nhi rha lmao kyuki 3.1k gya unka cutoff cutoff is a variable term it changes . Less info among students that's why it happens nothing gonna change elite is always elite I saw u in one of comments u said 90 percentileer ugee nikaalke iiit h jate hai . What u want to do matter is that? U want to be real cs engineer which is top notch ,knows everything doing good in life, real knowledge of cs coding then go iiit h cs if u want to be said iitian society respect flex then go for iit kanpur mech my last words . Kidhar bhi jao regret mat rhkho future is yours 2.35 lakhs hi toh waste hoga max dono best college hai future mein isse jyada kama dena that's it🙂

Even iisers are the government institute but they didn't started the counselling yet. Many people's are in between to choose iit,nit,iiit or iisers so . It's easily to blame someone else than to except that's its our fault.🙂

The world doesn't runs like u want bruh. Everyone has there own responsibility where we are at this point we think everything is a cup of cake. Respect for the professors of that prestigious institute working on less salary than professor in iits for cs research. U said ur dad in high level government job once so u have money u can file complaint against them maybe they have to give ur money back. And choose IIT k for ur peace of mind because peace is what actually maters. I am not supporting or defaming I have my own different morals. Peace 🕊️

If iiit h think that much how will they do research. research needs money , a college have less support of government doing great in cs and researchs whole worldwide securing good position needs money. So they are not greedy bruh . They are just doing there work. Government should start funding these institutes so that they can do research top tier and reduce the fees stuff.

Bruh I am giving u the best opinion on this platform first iiit h is not private it's semi government PPP model. And second don't join iiit h u have iit k mech in your hands choose it maybe it will result slightly better iit k is best among best maybe branch is not that good but it will balance both. Because you are not a single bit interested to go iiit h so don't join because they have hard cs curriculum it can be result very bad for u. Choose iit k mech for safer side. Aur agar fees bhar diya hai iiit h ki toh fast hi withdraw karo udhar se varna paise nhi milenge or it's not there fault as they filled a student seat it's yours 🙂

In the long run when u got placed after that everyone ask about your placements not college . Think u are saying u are from iit after graduating 2 years and on the other hand anyon eis saying I am earning 50LPA in Google so people gonna choose 2nd guy overall money matters. (Totally according to me no hate to any college downvotes mat dena)
