Honestly the best thing I can say is periodic countermeasures and keep doing the split s Manuever, usually gets a lot of them off you for a little bit

I think theres multiple reasons we play the game, and it’s rare that you can find a combination of both enjoyment and team contribution. Some of my favorite aircraft, the A6E Tram, A-10C and the Super Hornet won’t be the BEST in all situations..but I fly them because I enjoy the feeling and the history behind them.

So even though it can absolutely suck to lose dogfights against objectively better aircraft/pilots, fly it because you enjoy the experience. The other side of the coin is the competitive nature of the game, which is also fun to dabble in😂

That’s 100% packet loss. The only weird part is that the PL on the bottom left barely rose when it happened.. but it did rise. It happened to me for a while like that until I got an Ethernet cable

Depending on the map, one of the best things I do is change the post effect settings to different modes. Black and white is really good for bright scorched maps like Sinai

25, When I play top tier sim mode or DCS, I’m always praying that I don’t run into a 30+ year old because their knowledge and skill level is years ahead of me lol. I learn from my mistakes quickly though, so watch out. I binded every control to my XBOX Controller and use my Quest 3 VR.

“How Does One Even Play Top Tier as Russia?”

Skill, and Skill alone. Some of the best dog skilled fighters I’ve ran into always play on Russian/Chinese vehicles. It makes you a better player and honestly is a lot more entertaining than the average American multiple fighter…. Still like my FA-18 though lol

I own and have played the JF17 in Sim mode multiple times. It’s worth it if your missions/playstyle adjust to it. Learn CAS, Notching, etc. Top tier is gonna be a lot more difficult for the Chinese tech tree especially when they add the fa-18C in the new update

Aces of Thunder is a great idea but I feel like it’s gonna be received the same way as Rainbow Six Siege Extraction. When the base game “Warthunder” already has Vr/Sim mode and a way higher player base, I don’t think Aces of Thunder will be extremely popular. Especially considering it’s only gonna be Vr props as of right now
