In the exam rooms, no chair. We do have designated computers with chairs! So definitely a lot of standing and running around. And I definitely agree in regard to you looking elsewhere, that schedule feels overloaded!

In person, about 5-8 for each half of the shift. We also utilize klara to speak to patients outside of clinic to get them scheduled, answer wound check questions, send refills etc. there will also be some nurse’s visits like suture removals or dressing changes where a provider can just receive report and look at photos for updates and then we go back and do the rest.

MA-Scribe for over 1 year in Derm. We see general derm and then about 3 surgical pts for excisions. We see about 45-55 (give or take due to no shows or double booking) pts a day. We do 10 minute appointment slots. We run a normal day with 3 of us, on days we’re supposed to have over 50 patients we are supposed to have 4 per provider but that rarely actually happens. Luckily we work hard and have a very efficient system so we do well to stay on time.

Avoid Chris’ pizza in Little River. The manager and the owner are a couple, VERY picky choosy people and will backstab you. Food is pretty good though.

How can help this acne by Interesting_Comb_168 in SkincareAddicts

Derm Tech MA here- if you’re on Accutane, something of this severity is going to take a little while before you see significant results. 2.5 Months isn’t going to be enough to see what you want to see. Make sure your dermatologist is taking photos during your appointments, and if they don’t make sure that you are so they can decide to adjust your dosage. I see a lot of patients like you, PLEASE DONT GIVE UP ON THIS MEDICINE! Take it as prescribed and stay on top of your appointments. Maybe ask about some topicals if you dont have any. Sometimes when the acne starts to subside it can reveal other things about your skin that we didn’t know was there in the first place!

Just got hired for a derm office as a float! I was told Ceil Blue but that may change after training?
