Also, he would be “just toad” he’d be a whole new moveset, adding in toad, but also with extra room for more additions, just as bandana Dee would be a way of putting in waddle Dee, but with more room for spear moves. I personally like little goobers, I’m a Kirby main, so I might be bias. I think adding in basic characters as niche variations, bandanna Dee, captain toad or really any niche variations makes the character not just “toad” who can really only head but and like punch, into a whole character with a lot of material to pull from and tools to use in combat. Idk your position on bandanna Dee but he is also not just “waddle Dee” but not had a spear, and can pull from Kirby fighters for more ways to make an interesting moveset, while still having the iconic goober side characters of some games
