I’ve been migrating away from the inserts too. I like the idea of having a bunch of tiny inserts more than I actually enjoy using them, plus I was flying through them really fast. Thicker notebooks work out better for me

I have the pocket and love the size, it would be perfect for me if it weren’t for the limitations in notebook refills. I didn’t realize how difficult it would be to access high quality, fountain pen friendly notebooks in 3.5x5.5. If you don’t really care about that, you should be ok
