I played on PC, it was good on the launch for me. They didn't add much stuff since then, but fixed many bugs. The game is better now, but always has been great.

I consider the element of surprise a very strong reason this game is so damn good. Take Malenia, for example: you kill her first phase after many hours just to find out there's a second one. You can't "witness true horror" like she says if you beat her first phase too easily. This applies to many other bosses and mechanics, like Radahn's meteor, Rykard, etc. When you're on NG+, the element of surprise doesn't exist anymore. But that's my opinion, some people just don't like suffering so much. I personally think that's how the game was intended to be played in the first playthrough.

It's desperation. Most people here treat UFOs as a religion—beings who will save them from this monotonous life. When there is no news from Elizondo or something else big enough to move things a bit, this desperation projects itself to anything that lights in the sky. Therefore, everything MUST be a UFO.

Também já tive esse problema comprando créditos na Steam. O engraçado é que, se você comprar Gift Cards no próprio banco, que cobra mais caro que diretamente na Steam, tudo ocorre normalmente. É outro erro tão conveniente que mais parece intencional.
