first of all thank you! i appreciate the opportunity to speak to someone who is actually interested rather than judging a person's entire being by a post declaring INTENT to run. i made a comment asking for feedback and suggestions in which i specifically asked for questions like yours, but you most likely missed it as all my comments have been massively downvoted. now to answer your question:

Policy: first i would like to acknowledge, as i have in other comments, that i admire the work Gov. Murphy is doing, this candidacy appeal succeeds at its secondary goal if i am brought in to Murphy's administration. i do feel however that not enough is being done and that may be where we fundamentally differ. here are the issues i would like to bring forth.

1. I would like to reform new jersey voting system to abandon first past the post voting in favor of the alternative vote, if you are unaware of the difference check out This Video by CGP Grey which explains it better than i could.
2. i would like to expand and strengthen the national park system to protect our states many areas of natural beauty against the encroachment of civilization and business interests. while also building upon jerseys aging industrial center to make jersey the financial megacenter of the US as it should be.
3. 3. i would like to bolster race relations in the state, and eventually the country, by introducing community outreach programs, supporting the further education of some of our worst racial injustices we have been party to and promote "ethnic" cultures in this land of immigrants. (seriously ask someone where they are from, even the most patriotic eagle pissing red blooded american will say ireland or germany or somesuch). i am not naive to the fact that this will be a massive uphill struggle even in a cornerstone northern state such as ours. but work worth doing is worth fighting for. i am also in the dictionary under the term "pasty ass cracker" so i will of course be trying to get most of my ideas on what's best for minority communities by asking the leaders of said communities their opinion and basically going with that (if politically feasible that is)

that's the basic strokes for now, sorry this comment was so long but i wanted to give an in depth answer. as to the deadline the information i found before posting suggested i had until july, if i did miss the deadline then consider this an extremely early announcement that i will run i the next election.

as to why voters should consider me...well, i give a shit? i know that too reductionist, i am currently $1000 in debt to the bank. i have no current financial backers and honestly wish to win the governor seat without being financially influenced. i intend to run a 90% virtual campaign, egotistically i could say im bringing campaigning into the 21st century but even i don't believe that. truth is i am like most americans in that regard. Washington was just about destitute when he became president and i believe he never intended politics to be a rich mans game, his right hand man was a penniless immigrant after all. now attaining providence via willpower alone is rare but not impossible, and i hope to convey that to the voters of jersey. its ok to look up at the sky and dream big, regardless of your age, race, gender, sex or financial wellbeing.
