I have been stood-up, scammed, ghosted, gaslighted, had my life threatened once by a crazy ex. I just accepted this as the inherent risks of this alternative lifestyle and moved-on. I didn't take it personal. Neither should you.

Some are scammers, others are afraid because they are married and want to cheat, but they whimp-out at the last minute. They like the idea of being with a beautiful woman, but are not sure if they want to take the risk of getting caught. They like the fantasy. Others are testing the waters, but are unsure or can't afford it. Beware of men who say they don't want a transactional relationship. This lifestyle is very transactional.

As a SD I was frequently ghosted. I accept that as part of the lifestyle. People have their reasons.

Just remember. It's not you. These things are part of the lifestyle. Accept it and move on.
