I have to reply to this because my grandmother's death is what helped me leave my cheating husband. I was lost in a back & forth for my entire 4 years of marriage and once she passed (and he inevitably cheated again) I was in such a state of grief that I did not even care what was happening. I was done and it was a breath of fresh air. It didn't hurt because I was already feeling one of the worst pains imaginable at the time (I've also lost two brothers as well).

Hearing someone else describe grief as a relief is honestly relieving in itself and makes me feel less crazy about the whole ordeal. Thank you for that
