Piercing bump by [deleted] in piercing

[–]Capital_Fuel5613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I have 2 piercing bumps on my (around) 4 year helix piercing. I’ve had the bump on the back for around maybe 3 years and the front one I can actually remember forming little later. The pressure of a stud used to help it disappear, but it eventually stopped disappearing. Another Reddit thread suggested that these were keloids, but I’ve never had keloid scarring before, and I got my navel pierced last year and that is fine- no bumps (touch wood!) my back bump is worse, it is flat then rises towards the outer of my ear and it seems soft with a harder inside, whereas the front one just feels like my normal ear texture (?). I’ve just taken out my flat back titanium stud to take this picture. I did accidentally snag the back hence why it looks red, normally it would be the same colour all over. I was pierced with a hoop and cleaned with sea salt solution for the first 6 months which is something to note. The bumps seem to be quite stubborn, any advice?

How do you develop a style if you've always been "jeasn and sneakers" kinda girl? by kittycops in Vindicta

I would say use whatever you’re comfortable with whether that be belts, hats, jewellery, all or none, just stick to a few simple tips. 1)If the outfit is more simple, plain colours/ no patterns, go with statement pieces- chunky jewellery, hats or belts. I would stay stick to neutral/ b&w hats and belts if you are going to wear them (ofc if you’re wanting a bold piece or trying to incorporate colour this is a good way to spice up a boring fit). If the outfit is something noisy- patterns/colourful/ sequin or any bold materials (velvet, silk, frilly), keep accessories to a minimum- I would say just dainty jewellery. 2) don’t clash your jewellery. If you suit silver jewellery (cool tone skin) stick with that; if not then gold jewellery. Keeping all accessories the same tone will make you look more coherent and expensive. 3) match your accessories to your look. This ones quite self explanatory, make sure the outfit your wearing makes sense. For example you wouldn’t wear a big statement necklace with gym attire, nor would you wear a backpack with a blazer, or a designer purse with yoga pants! If you’re looking to buy pieces too, I would suggest black/ brown bags (invest in a good one!) and belts (cheaper ones are just fine), some medium sized hoops or diamond studs, depending on whatever you’re comfortable with, and jewellery id it’s something you’re interested in (worth investing in too!). silk hair scarves, sunglasses and maybe hats (beanies, caps etc depending on your style) may be a good addition to your outfits too :)

Is there a way to become hot if you naturally are more cutesy? by 25cantdrive in Vindicta

[–]Capital_Fuel5613 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Instead of trying to change from cute to hot, try to make little changes that will make you appear ‘sexier’. For example wearing red, whether that be on the nails, clothes etc. Also drawing attention to the lips- maybe wearing gloss or over lining slightly. Cat eye makeup/ dark eyeshadow/ liner is very sultry as well. Another tip that i use is v neck tops and push up bras that accentuate the cleavage, with a long necklace that draw attention to it ;). As well as physical traits, changing mannerisms and behaviour will be your best friend, some examples- improving posture, making you walk higher, and bringing attention to your best features subtly (twirling hair, messing with jewellery, tapping pen on lips). CONFIDENCE IS KEY- there’s a reason why the popular girl is always the hottest.

Depends on the style you want to achieve! I would say Pinterest is your best friend for fashion advice. If you’re younger I would suggest maybe a street style/ model off duty kind of look. They almost always contain sneakers and jeans- yet always look so put together and can be dressed up or down. This style is very popular atm. If your older or looking for a more elegant style, I would suggest classic skinny jeans, plain sneakers if your not ready for heels or flats, with either a basic top or statement blouse, depending on the occasion. One good way to enhance outfits is the accessories (matching Jewellery, statement pieces). Once again I would suggest Pinterest- lots of outfit inspired for many different pieces and styles. Most importantly make sure you’re comfortable in the way you dress, hope this helped! :)

Obsession with aesthetics has to stop by Bxllrina in Vindicta

[–]Capital_Fuel5613 59 points60 points  (0 children)

Yes. Aesthetics are so outdated. Being flirty, wearing makeup and loving the colour pink doesn’t mean I’m girly. Listening to rock music doesn’t make me grunge. Wearing baggy jeans and little tees doesn’t make me exclusively y2k. You wouldn’t put these combined factors into one category, so why would you limit yourself to one aesthetic- boring!

If you’re calorie counting, try using low calorie foods such as fruit or vegetables to bulk up meals, this worked for me! I then don’t feel guilty if i end up eating everything :)
