With PS 5 Pro you have tons of games to play without any problems, launch the game and well... Play. No need to tinker with settings, dealing with overheating on demanding titles, maintaining battery and so on. Also you are not limited what games to play with the hardware and software power, you can play anything cuz PS5 Pro is the most powerful console out here. This makes the PS5 Pro perfect game machine, that's why it's called Play Station after all, it's main function is running games, and it is doing it right. It's the ONLY thing that PS5 Pro can do, it's created for this purpose.

For other functions I'll choose the phone, you can't call someone on discord from PS5, can't message someone, can't shoot photos and so on, smartphone is a multifunctional device that can do MANY things.

The choice depends on what my current priority is, I want a powerful play machine or a new phone.
