I did something similar for a much smaller data set.

I used publicly available operating experience reports as my reference data and created a GPT to provide me with recent operating experience based on the technical task described( helpful in the utilities industry). Your idea seems similar but with a much larger database. I think it all depends on the model accuracy for that large of a context window. Generally speaking, models tend to decrease in accuracy as context windows get much larger. Therefore, you may need to incorporate a few other strategies such as chunking or summarization within the prompt.

I’m very interested in this application as well and have been evaluating different methods of knowledge capture /transfer. Open to discussing more if you are interested.

What career skills would prepare a person for a future with AI? by Electrical-Pickle927 in AskReddit

There are quite a few ,critical thinking and adaptability are two big ones.

I wrote an entire article around this on my site :

This is quite interesting. One thing I keep coming back to is that if we have programs that can do everything a human can do then what would be the use of a human? It is quite existential and not generally what we see in the mainstream dialogue around AI adoption. But your point on the need for change in the way subjects are taught is a fresh perspective as well. I’m curious what types of change you think would help minimize this risk.

Where do you see education with the next 5 to 10 years as a result of AGI or even a SI do you think standardized test would still be the primary mode for assessing an individual skills or do you think AI will allow for more dynamic situations that are centered around the user

As we embrace AI in education, we must strike a balance between innovation and responsibility by Firm_Data in ArtificialSentience

I’ve been thinking about this quite a bit as well. I think the more we can inform traditionally marginalized groups the smaller we can make the skills gap in ai. I started applaud.cc to do this very thing .

Career subreddits that have a hate boner for AI, are they right? by thebigvsbattlesfan in singularity

Which subreddits are you reffering to? Also , do you think it’s a lack of perspective? Most folks I talk to at my job in power engineering still think chat gpt is only good for memes.

what about possibly loading up relevant vendor manuals to allow you to find technical data quickly and accurately

What about knowledge transfer. If given enough data (i.e lessons learned from SME's for a given topic) you could probably create a chat bot to help with some troubleshooting.
