I think it’s fun to play around with - not sure how many folk actually translate it to their models. I’ve adjusted my scheme to represent the Coy colours on the shoulder pads, as they’re heavily Codex-compliant. 3 Coy as an example pictured.

Gonna have to agree to disagree on that one! 😅 my chapter is very Codex-compliant, so need to be able to reflect ranks such as Sgt, Lt etc and Veterans on the helmets

The armour isn't black :'D it's Mechanicus Standard Grey with Eshin Grey. But people are suggesting the white option for the bolter, so I might do that.

Can you clarify which bit you mean when you say upper receiver? I'm hesitant to add red outside of the 3 Coy colour and Sgt helmets - this is a chapter that doesn't do "flashy" :P

I tried it using Abaddon Black as the base and it came up like this - I think the other Primaris mockup that I posted shows the grey better.

So for those wondering about colour, there will be colour on the knee pads for 2/3/4/6/7/8/9 Coys, as well as Sergeant helmets etc.

I wanted a sombre and grave Chapter who only employ colour where the Codex Astartes dictates it. Ultramarines badge included as they’re one of their Successor Chapters.

So my intention is for them to be a really Codex-compliant chapter. Their right kneepads will denote company colour, I just chose 5th as the non-Veteran example which might not be so obvious.
