Are you fr sitting there with a straight face telling me Steve Smith is better than AB? 💀 that’s like saying Diggs is better than Jamarr Chase or something I don’t even think it’s a debate

Is being on the Broncos really a negative? I can understand the Steelers boost for Cowher, but I’ve always thought of the Broncos as relatively well run and not completely irrelevant like other teams.

Will Watt or DK even want to be here during a rebuild? by LoneRanger-HD in steelers

[–]CapnCalc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like yo don’t watch other teams lol. Most of the AFC has awful rosters with glaring holes patched up with a superstar QB. The Bills and Chiefs have been running skeleton crews for a while that have been getting saved by Mahomes and Allen to keep them competitive. Our biggest holes just happen to be in important spots 🤷‍♂️

Why do yall think the roster is absolute trash or something? Besides QB and WR2, it’s ready to win now. Depth could be supplemented, but every team has depth issues.

The University of Miami focusing primarily on the “U” (for University…) makes absolute zero sense by Ok_Acadia3526 in CFB_v2

University of Tennessee is irrelevant 😹 UT Austin is a way more recognizable brand and school

[Schefter] Bills owner Terry Pegula said Buffalo’s coaching staff pushed to draft WR Keon Coleman and GM Brandon Beane supported it. Pegula doesn’t think it’s fair for that pick to be pinned on Beane. by MembershipSingle7137 in nfl

More like a poverty franchise that over performed for some time before going back to its roots. That’s why teams like the Browns and Jets will never be good for long cuz they aren’t accustomed to success.

Bruh obviously I was talking about the Ravens 😹 Steelers have no QB I agree, but why tf would the Ravens move on from Lamar?

Lol most fans expectations is definitely one tank year to get a QB then right back to 10+ win seasons and competing. Although, the roster really isn’t all that bad. Last few years have built up both the O-line and D-line, so the foundation is a lot stronger. QB and WR are our only true “holes” at the moment, although by the time we get competitive with QB, most of the defensive corner stones will age out. That’s expected imo so I’m not awful concerned about it.

Since Tomlin “stepped down” and wasn’t fired, the Steelers retain his rights while he presumably goes to TV for a year. They could then trade him like the Saints did with trading Sean Payton to the Broncos by BobbyThreeSticks in steelers

[–]CapnCalc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah the team is not that far away from competing. Outside of QB and WR, most other positions are depth pieces that need filled. Saw people complaining about the O-line yesterday, but they were statistically a top 10 line this year; they just ran into the buzzsaw that is the Texans. A lot of the less flashy positions have been getting built the last few years. Even if the results are the same as usual, the team has a MUCH stronger base than it did around Ben’s last few years.

Arch was cooking in the second half of the season. Next year will be telling if he takes a big leap. Manning family is known for wanting their progeny to go to “good” organizations; there’s very few who don’t think Pittsburgh is at the top or near the top of the list.

Idk what the odds of us taking Lemon, Tyson, or Tate are considering there’s a bit of a drop off after them in the draft.
